Our Studio Is a Workshop of Ideas

Quality

Our studio policies, systems and processes have been developed with a rigorous attention to detail to guarantee quality in our projects and our company. We take on a limited number of projects and our directors lead every project together.

Our robust in-house Quality Management system is based on principles of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, following the RIAI Good Practice Guide and the RIBA Plan of Work. Every project is developed in BIM in accordance with the ISO 19560 series, with appropriate information exchange protocols in place.

Our IT systems are security certified to ISO 27001. We take a flexible approach with online cloud servers to maintain our workflow from any location, whether working from our studio base or on site.

Sustainability

Sustainability underpins our work in the broadest sense. We make long-life, low-energy, environmentally and socially sustainable buildings to stand the test of time and last for generations.

We recognise our responsibility as architects in a climate and biodiversity emergency. We are signatories to Irish Architects Declare: ie.architectsdeclare.com

Innovation

We celebrate new ideas, techniques and technologies with a focus on materials with low embodied carbon, mass timber construction and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). We undertake independent research and development in all of our projects, in a spirit of continuous learning. We promote ongoing research into new techniques to reduce embodied-carbon in the buildings and landscapes we make.
